There are several Bay tree trunks that have become potentially dangerous in my opinion and they have moved at an angle and are now leaning against the stone wall bordering my garden and the pavement, and one is across my car port .I have cut the smaller branches to one of them which was overhanging the pavement,as it seemed worse than the rest, to reduce the weight and further wind damage and I have tied it back as shown in an attached photo. There are also photos of the base of a couple of the trees which show large gaps where the trunks has moved from.I have also included another photo of a dead trunk in the same vicinity which I also wish to remove.

T002 - x1 Mature Holm Oak (Quercus ilex) Re-pollard the tree back to its previous established pollard points. Remove the heavy, overextended regrowth from the upper crown to reduce loading on the existing branch unions and areas of decay and cavities. Undertake works carefully around the historic pollard points, retaining the main structural framework of the tree where practicable. Remove all resulting branches and timber from site. Works to be undertaken within the recommended 6-month timescale. All works subject to obtaining the necessary Tree Preservation Order (TPO) consent or Conservation Area approval from the Local Planning Authority prior to commencement. All pruning cuts to be made at suitable growth points where practicable, taking account of the existing pollard framework. Final cuts will be made at previous pruning points at approximately 7m from ground level. All works carried out to BS 3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations. Remove all cut material from site & return to a Teign Trees depot for recycling, leaving the area safe, clean & tidy.
