Planning Activity
- Pending26/1561/TPOPlease refer to attached tree inspection report Firstly, to section fell/dismantle four trees of mixed species including Ash and Elm trees exhibiting advanced die back and Dutch elm disease as they are within falling distance of the footpath and a road. The trees are located south of Old Rydon Lane in the clearing north of Liberty Way. Secondly, to complete a crown reduction of an English Oak by 1 to 1.5 metres as there are two recent limb failures and the tree is heavily weighted over the footpath. The crown reduction will reduce the end weight of the branches and the wind sail effect. The tree is located adjacent to the railway line near 29 Liberty Way. Both sets of works need to be done by 31 January 2027.
- Pending26/1555/TPOSilver birch I believe an Arborist has been to provide quotation to remove tree. Tree needs to be felled/removed. I suggest a site visit is made to see the issues. I don't know if any TPO exists but I would not think so it was planted by previous proprerty owner Reasons: It is firstly far too big now for the small gardens we have. The trunk of the tree is now leaning against my fence. The canopy blocks out my light in the garden and canopy is approx 12 feet into my garden. The roots have also started undermining my decking adjacent to the brick garden wall again this is a joint boundary wall with us and No1 Caroline Avenue. The tree also is in very close proximity to afoul sewer run serving properties 26,28 and 30 Batavia Drive and this is potentially will cause blockages in the future if tree is not removed. During the recent storm the trunk of the tree was moving the fence.
