Planning Activity
- PendingSDNP/26/04266/PA13ANitrate removal plant installation -This application follows the notification of works at the site which were confirmed to be Permitted Development under Schedule 2, Part 13, Class A(g) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended) in reference SDNP/26/03630/PA13A. The proposed scheme has been altered during detailed design to include an additional nitrate removal plant, now totalling two separate nitrate removal units and an access road. The filter size and design remains the same as previously submitted, this scheme increases the quantum of filters to a two separate units and ancillary works including a site access road.
- Pending26/02039/TPOG1 Beech - Localised crown reduction over rear garden to reduce risk of further branch loss/failure, following recent breakage of over hanging branch into garden. 2-3m reduction of over extended limbs/branches, as appropriate, to good growth points, in line with BS3998
- Pending26/02036/TPOTree: T1 Mature Beech (Fagus sylvatica) Proposed works: Reduce selected overextended lateral limbs on the side of the crown overhanging the neighbouring property by up to 5 metres, pruning back to suitable secondary growth points within the inner canopy. The 5 m measurement represents the maximum reduction to the longest overextended limbs only and is not intended as a uniform 5 m reduction across the entire side of the crown. Following reduction of the overextended limbs, blend and reshape the surrounding canopy to maintain a natural and balanced crown profile. The finished crown spread on the reduced side will be approximately 8 metres. Crown lift to approximately 4 metres above ground level, achieved through the selective removal/reduction of secondary and tertiary branches only. No primary scaffold limbs are proposed for removal as part of the crown lift. The overall height of the tree and the crown on the tree-owners side will remain unchanged. All pruning cuts to be no greater than approximately 70 mm diameter, with works undertaken to suitable pruning points and in accordance with BS 3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations. Reason for works: To reduce the excessive lateral extension of the crown over the neighbouring property, improve clearance beneath the canopy and manage the tree?s relationship with the adjoining property while retaining the overall size, form and amenity value of the mature Beech.
